Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Business Diver, operated by ResourceHub Cph (CVR DK46200462), a Danish enkeltmandsvirksomhed (sole proprietorship). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. Service Description
Business Diver is an AI-powered company research tool that aggregates publicly available data from multiple sources and uses artificial intelligence to generate structured business intelligence reports. The service is available through businessdiver.com.
2. Account Creation and Responsibility
An account is required to use the Business Diver research tool. You may create an account using Google Sign-In or email and password. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate account information
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. One account per person. Accounts are not transferable.
3. Subscription Tiers and Billing
Business Diver offers three tiers:
- Free - 5 reports per month using your own API key (BYOK). No payment required.
- Pro ($19/month) - 25 managed reports per month, plus BYOK overflow. Includes PDF export and extended history.
- Business ($39/month) - 80 managed reports per month, plus BYOK overflow. Includes PDF export and extended history.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds are issued for partial months.
If a payment fails, your account will enter a grace period. If payment is not resolved within the grace period, your account will revert to the free tier. Existing reports remain accessible but no new managed-key reports can be generated beyond the free tier limit.
4. API Key Usage and Liability
Bring Your Own Key (BYOK): Free tier users and any user who opts into BYOK mode provide their own API key from a supported AI provider (Google Gemini, OpenAI, or Anthropic). Your API key is stored exclusively in your browser. When you run a research query, your key is transmitted to our backend server, which uses it to call your AI provider on your behalf. We never store, log, or persist your API key beyond the duration of each request. You are responsible for your API key usage and any associated costs billed by your AI provider.
Managed keys: Pro and Business subscribers use Gemini API keys owned and managed by Business Diver. You do not need to provide or manage any API key. Gemini API costs are covered by your subscription fee, subject to the monthly report limits of your tier. Business Diver is responsible for the security of managed keys.
In both modes, Business Diver is not liable for the accuracy, completeness, or availability of responses from third-party AI providers. AI provider outages, rate limits, or policy changes are outside our control.
5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
All reports generated by Business Diver are produced by artificial intelligence and are for informational purposes only. Reports do not constitute financial advice, investment recommendations, legal counsel, or professional guidance of any kind. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, hallucinations, or outdated information. Always verify important information independently before making any decisions.
6. Data Handling
Your use of Business Diver is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under GDPR. By creating an account, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
7. Fair Use
You agree to use Business Diver responsibly and not to abuse the service through automated bulk requests, scraping, or any activity designed to overload or disrupt the service. We reserve the right to implement rate limiting and to restrict access in cases of abuse.
Specific limits apply per tier: free accounts are limited to 5 reports per month, Pro to 25 managed reports (plus up to 100 BYOK), and Business to 80 managed reports (plus up to 300 BYOK). Attempting to circumvent these limits is a violation of these terms.
8. Account Termination
By you: You may delete your account at any time from your account page. Deletion is permanent and removes all your data, including profile, usage history, and stored reports. If you have an active subscription, cancel it before deleting your account to avoid further charges.
By Business Diver: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or use the service for unlawful purposes. We will notify you via email before termination when reasonably possible.
9. Data Sources
Business Diver aggregates publicly available information from the web. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data collected. Source quality varies and is reflected in the Data Quality section of each report.
10. Limitation of Liability
Business Diver is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ResourceHub Cph is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to decisions made based on AI-generated reports, losses from API key usage, or service interruptions.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be submitted to the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
